A CHRISTMAS lunch for individuals and families in crisis will be held at a North Harbour business park for a third year.

Volunteers from businesses within 1000 Lakeside will be working to help prepare lunch and gifts for dozens of families at this year’s event.

Last year, more than 200 people were treated to a free four-course meal in the centre’s Real Cooking Café and this year the business centre is hoping to double that figure.

All of the people invited are currently being supported by the You Trust, The Roberts Centre and the Paulsgrove Foodbank.

Businesses have been sponsoring the event, helping to raise money to pay for presents for children, chocolate boxes and children’s entertainment for the event.
