SCHOOLS and businesses are being encouraged to go mad this March.

Diabetes UK South East Team is holding Mad March Hair events to raise vital cash for the charity.

To take part each person pays £1 and goes to work or school for the day wearing a wig or with a wacky hairstyle.

You can choose which day you want to hold the Mad March Hair day – it just has to be in March.

The charity runs events for children diagnosed with diabetes, their families and carers. It provides opportunities for children to get support and meet other children with the same condition.

It offers expert health care advice and encourage confidence in children with dealing with their medical treatment. Call 01372 720148 for more information.
