A video of a dentist performing classic hits to raise awareness of dental hygiene has gone viral after being posted on social media.

More than 4 million people on Facebook have watched Dr Milad Shadrooh and his unique take on the 90s classic “I Like To Move It” by Reel 2 Reel.

The video, named “I Like Your Molars”, was posted online by social media news site TheLADBible on Monday.

Since then his rendition has been “liked” by more than 75,000 people and has been shared nearly 28,000 times.

Dr Shadrooh - who has dubbed himself “The Singing Dentist” - uses the video to urge patients to keep to regular appointments and look after their teeth properly.

Thousands of people also commented on the video on social media.

One user, Jessica Faye Thompson, commented: “You wouldn’t be scared if this guy was your dentist.”

But another, Daniel Jones said: “I’d rather my dentist brushing up on his dentistry to be honest. Pun intended.”

Dr Shadrooh, who works at a practice in Basingstoke, has also appeared on the BBC, ITV and the Huffington Post in recent months.

Other videos he has created include “Return of the Plaque” (Return of the Mack), “This Is How We Brush Teeth” (This Is How We Do It) and “Filler” (Thriller).
