THE trust that runs Queen Alexandra Hospital said it welcomes a website that gives more details on performance.

A search on the MyNHS site, produced by NHS England, tells you QA – run by Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust – sees 85 per cent of A&E patients within four hours, that its death rates and cleanliness are acceptable and that no patient is left waiting more than 52 weeks for treatment.

It also shows that out of 1,076 responses, 91 per cent of patients would recommend QA to their friends and family.

There is a breakdown of surgery results in different areas such as vascular.

Simon Holmes, medical director at for the trust, said: ‘We welcome this move by the NHS.

‘All of our surgeons feel a sense of personal responsibility towards patients and will always have their best interests at heart.

‘We welcome the opportunity for our patients, and the public we serve, to be able to play a more active role in their care and have access to the excellent clinical outcomes from this hospital.’
