A HOSPICE is appealing for local businesses to make prize donations to its Grand Summer Draw.
The annual event raises about £21,000 for The Rowans Hospice in Purbrook, which cares for patients with terminal illnesses in Portsmouth and South-East Hampshire.
In previous years, generous donors have given prizes including a flat screen TV and a holiday.
Ann Cooper, head of fundraising and marketing, said: ‘We’re looking for 10 major prizes from local businesses.
‘Alternatively, they could sponsor the printing of the raffle tickets and donate £1.000 as a first prize for the raffle.’
