A description of his book said: '˜From the most colourful aspects of the game, to what really happens on and off the pitch, Crouch reveals all his best stories and strange experiences in an utterly candid and hilarious way.

'˜From what Cristiano Ronaldo says when he looks at himself in the mirror in the dressing room, to footballer cars and players with so many they forget they have left a Porsche at the train station.

'˜From tattoos, the team bus, post-match interviews and £250 haircuts that should have cost a tenner, Crouch brings the reader into the world of Britain's favourite sport in his famously honest, candid and companionable way.'
