Councillor Linda Symes, Portsmouth City Council’s cabinet member for culture, leisure and sport, said the pool is great for a day out.
She added: ‘It can be difficult to keep children occupied in the school holidays.
‘The splash pool presents the ideal opportunity to keep kids active and happy but best of all it’s free.’
The splash pool is open from 11am until 6pm daily.
