FIREFIGHTERS had a busy night after an oven fire and false alarm.

Southsea Fire Station crews were called out four times in two hours on Saturday night.

Crew attended a lift rescue and an automatic fire alarm at between 8pm and 10pm on Saturday.

They were also called to a small oven fire which was out on arrival.

Finally, they attended a rubbish fire which was a false alarm, having been made by a hoax caller.
