It happened on the corner of Swanmore Road and Warsash Close at 3pm yesterday. A crew from Havant fire station went to put it out.

Scottish & Southern Electric apologised for having to turn off the power to homes in Warsash Close, Middle Park Way and Fleet End Close. Power was restored to all but five homes at 6.45pm.

A crew from Havant also rescued a 13-year-old from a tree in Harvest Gate Walk at 2pm and a man stuck in a bath in at 2.30pm.
