KENNEL staff in Portsmouth are looking for loving new homes for a family of puppies.

Last year, Portsmouth City Council’s kennels took pregnant Daisy in. She had already found a new owner but could not join them until after she gave birth.

Kennel staff looked after her until she gave birth.

Carol Plumbly, lead kennel assistant, took Daisy and the Shih-tzu/Jack Russell mix puppies in to rear them through their first weeks together.

Carol said: ‘It was a lovely experience rearing the six pups and they are so cute and adorable. I am happy I had that special time with them but now we need to find them loving homes to enjoy the rest of their lives.’

Three of the puppies have now secured new homes; however Teddy, Benny and Rolo, are now back at the kennels and ready to be rehomed.

Anyone interested in offering any of the puppies a home can call the kennels and leave a message on (023) 9268 8091 or email
