Hovercraft passengers were given chocolates and sung to as they prepared to cross the Solent this week.

On Tuesday night the 'Hoverettes' were at the Southsea terminal dishing out the treats and songs to commuters.

Neil Chapman, Hovertravel managing director, said: 'We first launched the Hoverettes back in September to help raise money for charity by singing to passengers.

'Now that Christmas is approaching we have relaunched the Hoverettes to sing Christmas pop songs to our commuters and hand out some chocolates to help get everyone in the Christmas spirit.'
