Stargazers in Portsmouth could be in for a treat tonight as the supermoon returns to our skies.
For those who missed November’s event, there will be another one just after midnight tonight.
Last month’s moon was a disappointment for many with cloud obscuring the best view of our satellite for another 18 years.
But the final supermoon of the year could make up for that, when the moon will appear bigger in the sky due to the its orbit being closest to Earth.
It means the moon could be up to 10 per cent bigger and as much as 30 per cent brighter than normal.
