A UNIT in an industrial park accidentally called the fire service out while testing its alarms.

Unit D2 in the Railway Triangle Industrial Estate, in Walton Road, Farlington, was testing its fire alarm.

But a crew from Cosham fire station ended up attending.

The call came in to them at 9.09am yesterday.

Having checked the site was alright, crews were turned back.
