AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of a young woman who was killed in a crash on a rural road.

The coroner of Southampton and Western Hampshire opened the inquest into the death of 24-year-old Rachel Lee, from Waterlooville.

As reported, Rachel died last Tuesday when her Vauxhall Corsa was in collision with a lorry on the A272 near Winchester. The hearing is due to take place next year.
