AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of a young golfer from Havant.

Aaron Kirk, 17, who was a junior golf captain at Rowlands Castle Golf Club, was found dead at Havant Thicket on July 15.

An inquest opened by Portsmouth Coroner David Horsley lists the death as a hanging.

The circumstances are still being investigated, but police have ruled out any foul play.

A hearing will take place at a later date.
