TICKETS to this year’s Isle of Wight Festival 2011 have now sold out, organisers have announced.

Taking place between June 10 and 12, the line-up hosts headline performances from some of the world’s hottest acts including Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters and, closing the Sunday night, Kasabian.

After only a few weeks of being on sale, fans have snapped up all tickets to the eagerly-awaited summer festival at Seaclose Park which is celebrating its 10th year in its modern format.

Festival promoter John Giddings said: ‘It’s fantastic to sell out five months in advance. The 10th anniversary is going to be a vintage year.’

Joining the headliners will be appearances from more top acts, including newly-reformed Pulp, The Script, Manic Street Preachers, Pixie Lott, Tom Jones, Public Image Ltd, Beady Eye, Boy George, Plan B and many more.

The Isle of Wight is traditionally the first major music event of the summer. Go to for more information.
