A TEENAGER has made an online video about the importance of fostering.

Jack Austin, 16, whose parents Melvyn and Tor are foster carers for Portsmouth City Council, has made a Youtube video of himself talking about his parents’ decision to look after other children.

Jack said: ‘YouTube is one of the most used websites for videos in the world.

‘I felt that it would be the best place to share my thoughts and experiences of fostering with a wide audience.

‘I made the video because I want people hear and understand how, as a teenager, I started off feeling nervous about the idea of fostering – and how I am now so glad my family made the decision to look after children who need love, care and support.’
