RESIDENTS are being called upon to join in with a charity fun day being held later this month.

The Rainbow Centre, Bradbury Drive, Fareham, is holding the Great Southsea Stroll and Fun Day which will raise money for the centre, which helps children and adults suffering from disabilities.

The event will take place on April 28 and will start off with a sponsored stroll.

A two-mile and six-mile distance are available for the stroll and both follow Southsea seafront and Southsea Common.

Other activities include a climbing wall, silly games, a retro sports day, pony rides, a dog show and lots of craft activities.

A stage will be set up which will show performances from local groups and choirs.
