Aircraft carrier project leaves defence budgets ‘exposed’, MPs warn

THE New Theatre Royal has become home to a travelling theatre company while it rehearses its new show.

Kipper Tie Theatre will use the building this week to rehearse for its upcoming tour of its version of the children’s classic, Ugly Duckling, in community centres across the area.

Directors and actors are perfecting the show based on feedback they received after their last tour with New Theatre Royal staff in October 2011, when an audience of more than 200 adults and children left comment cards.

Having recently performed drama workshops in Mumbai and received an invitation to work in Singapore, the Kipper Tie Theatre is well known worldwide.

The Ugly Duckling tour begins on March 3 at West Berks Playhouse, Watermill. For more dates and information, see
