A TEAM of lawyers swapped law books for pinafores as they took part in a bake off for money.

Lawyers from Blake Lapthorn created the sweet treats to raise money for The Rainbow Centre in Fareham and The Haven in Wessex Appeal.

Sue Talt,was crowned the most creative entry, Lauren Saunders, pictured left, won the most Easter-themed cake and James Hawkeswood was awarded for best presentation.

The staff also took part in a Wear a Colour Day, which combined with the bake off raised £338, which will be split between the two charities.

Blake Lapthorn staff are taking part in a range of fundraising activities for their chosen charities this year and have raised £1,168 of their £20,000 target.

The next event will be the Winchester Rotary Swimathon on Saturday, April 12.
