THE Lib Dems won their second seat in Leigh Park in a by-election last night.

This brought the number of Lib Dem seats back up to four on Tory-dominated Havant Borough Council. It had previously fallen to three after the resignation of Tricia Pearce resigned from Hart Plain ward last month.

Turnout: 20.27 per cent.

Faith Ponsonby (Lib Dem): 401 votes
