Leisure centre raises thousands for charity

A LEISURE centre operator has raised £115,000 for charity in the last year.

Everyone Active, who runs Fareham Leisure Centre and the soon to be opened Holly Hill Leisure Centre has managed to raise the staggering amount for The Anthony Nolan Trust.

The charity matches individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to people who desperately need lifesaving transplants.

Everyone Active ran nationwide activity challenges, including triathlons, swimathons and gym events to raise the funds.
