London Road in North End, Portsmouth closed after '˜hit and run'
A major Portsmouth road has been closed this afternoon after a '˜hit and run' incident.
London Road in North End is shut in both directions between Stubbington Avenue and Kingston Crescent.
First Portsmouth posted on Twitter that there had been a '˜hit and run' and services were being diverted.
Police have been at the scene diverting traffic.
Traffic is being diverted via Kingston Crescent, Chichester Road, Stubbington Avenue and Gladys Avenue.
