THERE are long tailbacks around Havant after two separate road traffic incidents.

At around 2pm a car broke down while travelling south on Langstone Road, Langstone. It caused long tailbacks and traffic backed up all the way into Havant town centre.

And the westbound lane of the A27 has been closed between Emsworth and the Langstone roundabout due to a three-car collision which happened at 2.30pm.

Firefighters from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service are on the scene clearing away debris from the crash but did not have to rescue anyone from the vehicles.

Police are not involved in either of the incidents.
