BRAKES on a lorry became overheated on the M27.

One crew from Cosham fire station was called to the motorway at 5pm yesterday.

A lorry had pulled over on to the hard shoulder near junction 12 of the M27 on the west bound carriageway.

The driver noticed the pedal was becoming hot, so called the emergency services.

Crews used water to cool the brakes down.
