M27 is cleared after fairground trailer accident
DRIVERS faced long delays on the M27 after a fairground trailer crashed.
It happened between junctions 8 for Bursledon and 9 for Whiteley on the eastbound carriageway this afternoon.
At its worst, the queuing traffic stretched past junction 4, the turning for the M3.
Now, all the lanes are cleared and traffic is moving.
In a separate incident, a broken-down vehicle on the eastbound carriageway between junction 10 for Fareham and junction 11 also added to the problems, but all lanes have now been reopened there too.
