A two-vehicle crash on the M27 blocked one lane of a slip road this morning, causing delays on the motorway.

Emergency services were called to slip road at Junction 9 at Segensworth, shortly before 8am, to deal with the collision.

Hampshire’s road management system tweeted at around 9.15am to say one lane of the exit slip road for Junction 9 at Whiteley was blocked.

A police spokesman confirmed the slipway was temporarily closed but that it was re-opened by 9.30am.

There were 20-minute delays caused as a result of the incident.
