THERE’S some ghoulish fun to be had this weekend at a Halloween party.

Hansel and Gretel will lead youngsters through an interactive trail based on the Brothers Grimm stories at Merchistoun Hall, Horndean, on Saturday.

Party-goers will meet Cinderella, the ugly sisters, Prince Charming, Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin, the gingerbread house witch, Red Riding Hood, the wood chopper and Snow White.

There will be a DJ, a buffet and competitions including fancy dress.

The event starts at 7.30pm is open to families and suitable for children aged over five accompanied by a responsible adult. Tickets cost £1 and are available from the Portsmouth Road venue.
