Man, 25, found dead at flats in Portsmouth

Officers attended at the Vista apartment block in Fratton Way, Portsmouth, at 2.53pm yesterday. A 25-year-old man's body was found.

A Hampshire police spokesman said: '˜We were called at 2.53pm on Wednesday,Â October 3 after the body of a man in his twenties was discovered in a flat on Fratton Way.

'˜His death is not being treated as suspicious.

'˜The man's next of kin have been informed.

'˜A file has been sent to the coroner.'

The News reported last year how scaffolding had been put up at the block, with residents told they face a bill betweenÂ Â£33,000 and Â£47,000 to fix cladding.

There was aÂ dispute between Linden Homes South, the 2009 apartment builder, and current ownerÂ Aviva Investors REaLM Ground Rent over who should pay.
