A MAN was taken to hospital by air ambulance with life-threatening injuries.

Emergency services were called to Clarence Esplanade in Southsea at 6.07pm on Sunday.

The man, in his 20s, had life-threatening injuries. He was treated by ambulance crews at the scene before being flown to Southampton General Hospital.
