A MAN had to be cut from his car after it crashed into the central reservation and rolled on to its side.

Firefighters from Fareham and Portchester attended the wrecked black Citroen C4 in Wallington Shore Road, Fareham, off the Delme Roundabout, at 12.30pm yesterday.

The driver, a male believed to be in his 60s, was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital by road ambulance with non life-threatening injuries.

Police and the air ambulance also attended.
