A MAN has been fined for possessing cannabis resin.

Richard Horne pleaded guilty to having the class B drug on him in Green Road in Fareham on December 17.

The 30-year-old was fined 66 and ordered to pay 50 costs by Fareham magistrates. Horne, of Dibles Road, Warsash, must also pay 15 into a fund for victims of crime.

Magistrates also made an order for the drugs to be forfeited and destroyed.
