A MAN had to be taken to hospital after being hit by a bus in North End during the rush hour.

South Central Ambulance Service was called at around 6.10pm yesterday to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a bus.

A rapid response vehicle and ambulance were sent to the scene. A man was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham.

The extent of his injuries are not known.
