A MAN dressed as a teddy bear will take part in a cycle ride to raise money.

Allan Farmer, from Gosport Snooker Club, will complete the 40-mile trip to raise money for the Solent Diabetes Association.

He will ride from Gosport to Hayling and through Portsmouth before returning.

Mr Farmer will be dressed as a teddy with patches on the costume where diabetes suffers have to inject insulin.

The club nominated the group as its charity of the year. The event is on May 28.
