A PRINTING press was destroyed when it caught fire.

The blaze, at a warehouse in New Lane, Havant, caused smoke damage. Fire crews from Havant, Cosham and Emsworth were called to the scene.

Firefighter Amy Piper said: ‘The printing press inside the warehouse was on fire. It was quite bad, there was quite a lot of smoke damage and the machine at the printing press was completely destroyed.’

One person was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation. It happened at 8.40pm on Monday.
