AN ELDERLY man who died at the wheel of his car has been named.

William Roach, of Cuckoo Lane, Stubbington, died after suffering a medical episode while driving in Park Lane, Stubbington, last Friday.

His car, a Skoda, crashed into the back of a parked car outside the doctors’ surgery.

Nobody else was hurt in the incident. Police closed the road just after 11am for a two-hour investigation.

The 85-year-old was taken to hospital, where he later died.
