Rescuers tow 44ft yacht to Gosport after fire and engine failure

POLICE have named a man who died following a road traffic collision.

Paul Newman, 60, of Beauchamp Avenue, Gosport, was driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa which crashed into a water pumping station on the A2141 at Chilgrove in West Sussex on Thursday, April 7.

Police are still appealing for any witnesses to the accident or anyone who may have seen a silver Corsa in the Chichester or East Hampshire areas during the late morning or early afternoon of that day.
