Marvel Comics' Stan Lee dies age 95

THE world-famous comic book writer and former editor in-chief of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee, has died age 95.

Stan Lee was known for being the mind behind comic book icons such as Spider-Man, Thor and the Fantastic Four, among others.

According to TMZ, an ambulance was reportedly called to his Hollywood Hills home this morning, before he was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre.

Stan Lee has also made cameo appearances in every Marvel Studios movie to date.
