THE mayor of Gosport is inviting people to join him for a charity supper evening.

Councillor John Beavis is hosting the event on Saturday, April 12 at The Gosport Masonic Hall in Clarence Road, Gosport.

The aim of the evening is to raise money for the mayor’s charities for the year which are Motiv8, Connect Advocacy and Learning to Sail, Lee.

The evening will begin with a supper which will be followed by entertainment provided by vocal and musical entertainer Dave ‘D’.

Cllr Beavis said: ‘It promises to be a great evening’s entertainment, together with supper, and all for a very reasonable cost.

‘So to ensure your Saturday night is a night to remember, don’t forget to book your tickets. In doing so you will not only have a great time yourself, but you will help others through the charities I am supporting this year.’

Tickets for the event which starts at 7pm are £10 each and are available from the main reception at Gosport Town Hall or from the Mayor’s PA on (023) 9254 5202.
