Meeting showing off town's tree warden team

The Havant Civic Society will be hosting a number of members from the town's own tree wardens team at its next meeting.

People attending the meeting will have a chance to find out more about what the wardens do in the area to promote all things green and to show off the town's trees.

There are 34 tree wardens operating in the Havant Borough Tree Warden network, which has been operating since 2006. They give guided tree walks and plant trees and seeds.

The meeting is on Monday at 6.30pm at the Wheelright's Arms, in  Emsworth Road, Havant.
