HUNDREDS of people packed into a pub to raise money in memory of a popular mum who died of cancer.
Amy Dougan, from Gosport, died aged 27 after a long battle with acute myeloid leukaemia.
Friends and family held a fundraising concert on Friday night – what would have been her 28th birthday – at The White Hart pub in Stoke Road, Gosport.
Her brother, 24-year-old Joe Roberts, of Weevil Lane, performed with his band GSPT in front of 250 people and helped raise £903 for Cure Leukaemia.
He said: ‘It was a good night and there were some good vibes.
‘I want to say thanks to the other two bands that played, Bear Cavalry and The Producer, who both brought in the crowds.
‘Thanks to them we managed to raise the amount of money we did.’
