TWO men arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving after a teenager died in a crash have been bailed.

It comes after the 19-year-old from Portsmouth died on Saturday night.

A 24-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, both from Portsmouth, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

A Hampshire police spokeswoman said they have been bailed to a date.

A second passenger, an 18-year-old from Emsworth, is in hospital after suffering life-threatening injuries.

Police are appealing for information on the crash, which happened at around 11.17pm on the B2177 near the junction of Pitymoor Lane.

A statement said the silver Nissan Almera left the road, which was closed while investigations took place.

Anyone with information should call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Eastleigh on 101, quoting Operation Chapman.
