AN MP is inviting youngsters from his constituency to design his Christmas card.

The winning entry in Meon Valley MP George Hollingbery’s competition will get the chance to grace the Prime Minister’s mantelpiece, amongst others.

The winners will also visit the Houses of Parliament with Mr Hollingbery as their guide.

He said: ‘Last year’s competition was a great success with the winning pupils having a great day out in London and also seeing their work in printed form.

‘So this year we want even more schools to take part and show just how talented pupils are in the Meon Valley.’

The three categories are reception to year six, year seven to 11 and for the Rachel Madocks special school in Cowplain. The competition deadline is October 14.
