A PENSIONER who went to visit a friend and did not return home could be in Hampshire, police have said.

Officers are appealing to the public to help trace a man who was last in Eastleigh on Saturday evening.

Michael Radford, 81, called his wife to say he was leaving his friend’s house at 8pm to head home – but he did not arrive.

Michael is from Barnet, London, and was driving a blue BMW 318, registration number T71 GGO.

Although a competent driver, there are concerns that he may have become lost or confused during the journey home.

His wife is desperate for news that he is safe.

Anyone with information on Michael Radford’s whereabouts is asked to call Metropolitan Police’s North West Command Unit on 101, quoting 18MIS048231.

The appeal has been shared by Hampshire police.
