VOLUNTEERS on Hayling Island raised £385 for victims of New Zealand’s earthquake and Japan’s tsunami.

Luanne Martin, Hampshire fundraiser for the Red Cross, said: ‘The generosity of the public and the time that our volunteers have given mean we can provide financial assistance to the New Zealand and Japanese Red Cross to continue the work to provide support to those who need it most.’
