FIRE crews were called to tackle a moped that was set alight.

The incident, which is being treated as a suspected arson attack, happened at 4.55am today, in Mile End Road, Landport.

When Southsea firefighters arrived they found the vehicle on fire underneath a bridge, with nobody else in sight.

They put out the fire within 15 minutes and have reported it to the police.
