THE next wave of acts to play at Butserfest have been announced.

Five more bands are confirmed to play at the UK’s biggest alcohol-free youth live music festival on September 12.

Joining headliners Don Broco, British rap metal band Hacktivist, The Qemists, London alt-rap rockers The One Hundred and alternative rock quintet Cardinal Bay on the main stage, will be distorted pop trio The Xcerts, and London’s Dirt, who are both making their Butserfest debuts.

New additions to the second stage are London-based hardcore metallers Shields, Rugby boys Wars (formerly Lavondyss) and Portsmouth’s Networks.

Last year’s Introducing Stage competition winners – Farnham’s Waking Angel, will also be back.

Butserfest was founded following consultation with local young people in East Hampshire, who said there was not enough to do in the area.

Now in its ninth year Butserfest has grown year by year and now has a reputation as one of the best festivals of its kind in the country.

Early Bird Tickets are now on sale for £19.90 (and no booking fee) till the end of June from
