PEOPLE are being given more time to come up with crazy fundraising ideas for a charitable cause.

Organisers of Children In Need Charity Gala Night, which will be held at The Kings Theatre on November 15, originally set this Saturday as the closing date for people to get in touch.

Now fund-raisers have until October 28 to think of wacky ways they can raise money for Children In Need.

Their efforts will be filmed by Kings Theatre staff in November, and the top 10 best will be displayed on a screen during individual cheque presentations on the night.

The event, which starts at 7.30pm, will see a host of comedians and singers take to the stage including X Factor duo Same Difference. Entry costs £1.

Alison Corbett of The Kings said: ‘We wanted to give people more time to think of ideas. We are urging everyone to get involved.’ To enter, contact The Kings on (023) 9285 2232.
