PART of the A27 is closed after a motorcyclist from Fareham came off her motorbike.

Sussex Police were called to the west bound carriageway of the A27, near to Hambrook, after a rider came off her moped, at 5.10pm today.

The rider, from Fareham, was on a black and silver Kymco 125 moped.

She has been taken to St Richard’s Hospital, in Chichester, where the extent of her injuries are not yet known.

The road has been closed as police investigate the scene.

It is not thought other vehicles are involved.
