A MOTORCYCLIST has suffered a serious injury after a crash in Fareham.

The male rider of the Kawasaki motorbike was involved in a collision with a Citroen Xsara Picasso shortly before 9.15am.

Hampshire police were called to the incident in Trinity Street at its junction with Russell Place.

The roads were cleared by around 10.20am.

South Central Ambulance Service said the motorcyclist was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham.

SCAS sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew.
